Jurisdiction model

Built for different regulatory jurisdictions.

Compliance obligations are set by jurisdiction, not by software. Auregis 2 Comply holds each jurisdiction's requirements as a separate, versioned rule catalogue.

An organisation operates within a jurisdiction, and that jurisdiction determines which rule catalogue applies — the requirements, frequencies, evidence expectations and terminology. Catalogues are independent of one another, so adding or updating a jurisdiction changes no other tenant's compliance position. Northern Ireland, Queensland and England are available today, with England validated for social housing and its deferred areas stated openly rather than implied. Every other jurisdiction is planned, and is not available until its own catalogue has been built and validated.

United Kingdom

Northern Ireland and England are available today. Every other jurisdiction is planned, and is not available until its own catalogue is built and validated.

  • England GB-ENGAvailable

England social housing compliance is available through Auregis 2 Comply, with structured regulatory requirements, evidence assurance and end-to-end compliance workflows built and validated against the England regulatory framework.

Validated coverage. Validated for social housing: gas, electrical, fire, water hygiene, asbestos, lifting equipment, damp and mould, tenancy and landlord duties, accessibility and governance.

Deferred. Not yet covered: higher-risk building duties under the Building Safety Act 2022, external areas and communal grounds, and energy performance. Coverage for these is not validated and Auregis 2 Comply will not report a compliance position on them.

  • Northern Ireland GB-NIRAvailable

Northern Ireland housing and property compliance is available through Auregis 2 Comply, combining structured regulatory requirements, evidence assurance and end-to-end compliance workflows.

  • Scotland GB-SCTPlanned
  • Wales GB-WLSPlanned

Australia

Queensland is available today. Every other jurisdiction is planned, and is not available until its own catalogue is built and validated.

  • Queensland AU-QLDAvailable

Queensland housing and property compliance is available through Auregis 2 Comply, with structured regulatory requirements, evidence expectations and compliance workflows.

  • Australian Capital Territory AU-ACTPlanned
  • New South Wales AU-NSWPlanned
  • Northern Territory AU-NTPlanned
  • South Australia AU-SAPlanned
  • Tasmania AU-TASPlanned
  • Victoria AU-VICPlanned
  • Western Australia AU-WAPlanned

The same architecture applies in every market: the jurisdiction selects the catalogue, and the characteristics of each property or site select the requirements within it.

Positioning

Auregis 2 Comply connects regulatory requirements, inspections, evidence and corrective actions into one live, defensible compliance position.

Written for compliance and asset managers. Three things Auregis 2 Comply is here to do.

01

Know what applies

Property characteristics — tenure, property type, property services, fuel source and jurisdiction — determine the statutory requirements that apply to each property, resolved by the Rules Engine rather than maintained by hand.

02

Know what needs attention

Inspections, certificates, contractors, responsible persons, due dates, findings and corrective actions are connected to the requirement, so compliance and asset teams can see what is due, what is overdue and what is at risk.

03

Prove your compliance position

Evidence is linked directly to the requirement it satisfies and rolls up into property, scheme, portfolio, management and board-level assurance, with a full audit trail behind every figure.

Industry challenge

What makes compliance hard here.

Obligations differ property by property

Tenure, property type, services present and fuel source all change what applies. Portfolio-wide spreadsheets cannot express that.

Certificates arrive as PDFs

Gas records, condition reports and EPCs land in inboxes and shared drives, disconnected from the obligation they discharge.

Findings get lost in reports

A C2 observation buried on page nine of a condition report is a statutory deadline nobody is tracking.

Assurance is assembled by hand

Board and regulator reporting is reconstructed from exports weeks after the position actually changed.

Regulatory environment

What the platform is configured against.

  • Jurisdiction-scoped rule catalogues — Northern Ireland and England and Queensland available today, in development, every other jurisdiction planned
  • Fire, gas, electrical, water safety and asbestos obligations
  • Building safety information for higher-risk buildings
  • Damp and mould investigation and remediation windows
  • Energy Performance Certificates on construction, sale and letting
  • Minimum housing standards and habitability
How Auregis 2 Comply applies

The platform, configured for this environment.

  • Organisation → Scheme → Property → Asset hierarchy with inherited scheme management
  • Requirements resolved from tenure, property type, property services, fuel source and council area
  • Inspection scheduling with no-access escalation and contractor assignment
  • Certificate register with validity, renewal and expiry — including EPC
  • AI-assisted extraction of certificate fields, verified by a person before it counts
  • Corrective actions raised from inspection findings and evidence review
  • Property-level compliance history and portfolio exception reporting
How A2C works

From property data to compliance assurance.

Auregis 2 Comply connects property information, compliance requirements, inspections, evidence and corrective actions in one controlled workflow — creating a live, auditable view of compliance across the portfolio.

  1. 01

    Understand the portfolio

Import or create properties, schemes, assets and property services. Property characteristics form the foundation for what applies.

  2. 02

    Resolve requirements

The Rules Engine determines the applicable compliance requirements from jurisdiction, property characteristics, services and assets.

  3. 03

    Plan inspections

Inspections are scheduled against the property, asset and requirement, with responsibility assigned to teams or contractors.

  4. 04

    Capture & verify evidence

Certificates, reports, photographs and inspection records are captured against the requirement and progressed through verification.

  5. 05

    Resolve exceptions

Failed inspections, missing evidence and identified issues create controlled corrective actions that are assigned, tracked and closed.

  6. 06

    Report with confidence

Status rolls up from requirements and properties into scheme and portfolio reporting, with evidence and audit history available.

One compliance record. Full traceability.

From the requirement identified by the Rules Engine through inspection, evidence, verification and corrective action, A2C maintains the relationship between each stage of the compliance lifecycle.

  • What applies
  • What is due
  • What has been completed
  • What evidence exists
  • What remains unresolved

Questions we're usually asked.

Answers describe what Auregis 2 Comply does today. Where something is planned rather than available, it says so.

We already have a housing or asset management system — why do we need Auregis 2 Comply?

Housing and asset management systems record properties, tenancies and works. They do not hold statutory obligations as versioned rules, resolve which requirements apply to each property, or link evidence to the requirement it discharges. Auregis 2 Comply is the compliance assurance layer: what applies, what is due, what has been done, where the evidence is and whether failures were corrected.

Do we have to replace our existing systems?

No. Auregis 2 Comply runs alongside them and owns the compliance record only. Properties, assets, contractors, inspections and evidence are entered or imported into Auregis 2 Comply today; system-to-system integrations are planned, not available.

How does Auregis 2 Comply determine which requirements apply to each property?

A configurable Rules Engine evaluates each property's characteristics — tenure, property type, property services present, fuel source and jurisdiction — against versioned rules in the applicable compliance pack. Each resolved requirement carries its frequency, evidence expectation and due date, and every match can be explained back to the rule that produced it.

What happens when legislation or requirements change?

Rules are data, not code. A rule is amended or a new version published, and affected properties are re-evaluated so their requirements update, with the previous version retained for audit. Rule changes are made by your administrators or by us as a configuration task — automated legislative change monitoring is not available.

Does AI determine whether we are compliant?

No. AI assists by reading uploaded certificates and reports and proposing field values such as certificate number, inspection date, expiry and outcome, and an assistant answers questions scoped to your own records. A person reviews and approves every extraction, and compliance status is only ever set by the deterministic rules and the human-verified evidence.

How much work is involved in implementation?

The work is portfolio data and configuration: load properties with their characteristics, confirm the rule pack for your jurisdiction, load current certificates and open actions, and set users and roles. There is no infrastructure to procure — Auregis 2 Comply is delivered as a hosted multi-tenant service.

Can we start with a small portfolio before committing to a full rollout?

Yes. A pilot is the recommended starting point: Housing & Property pilots run for 90 days on up to 250 properties, in your own tenant, before wider deployment. A fixed pilot fee, scope and duration are agreed in writing before the pilot starts.

How is our data protected and where is it hosted?

Each organisation has an isolated tenant enforced at the database level by row-level security, with role-based access, private evidence storage and an append-only audit trail of changes. Platform data is stored at rest in Australia; some processing, including AI-assisted extraction and edge delivery, occurs overseas, and encryption in transit and at rest is provided by our hosting and storage providers. There is no customer-selectable hosting region today. Single sign-on and multi-factor authentication are planned, not available today.

Can contractors and inspectors use the system without giving them unnecessary access?

Access is role-based, so users only see the registers and records their role requires, and contractors are held in a register with credential, insurance and licence expiry tracked against engagements. There is no offline mobile application; the platform is used through a responsive browser interface.

Can management and the board trace a reported compliance figure back to the underlying evidence?

Yes. Every reported figure drills down from portfolio to scheme to property to requirement to the inspection and the verified evidence that supports it, with the audit trail recording who did what and when. Reports can be exported for board packs and audit.

Start with a pilot

Prove it on your own portfolio first.

Most organisations start with a controlled pilot rather than a full rollout: a defined subset of your own portfolio, in your own tenant, proving the compliance position before you commit to everything.

Discuss a pilot
  • A defined subset of your own properties, with their real characteristics
  • The requirements the Rules Engine resolves for those properties, reviewed with your compliance team
  • Real inspections, certificates and evidence loaded and verified
  • Corrective actions raised and closed through the platform
  • A compliance position and assurance report you can put in front of your board
  • 90 days, up to 250 properties. A fixed pilot fee, scope and duration are agreed in writing before the pilot starts.
